Going “green” may also be a reflection of homeowners viewing the color as a statement of conservation. “Used as a subtle backdrop to reflect an enhanced eco-consciousness and social responsibility,” said Deborah Zimmer, paint and color expert with The Rohm and Haas Paint Quality Institute, “green will be representative of the growing environmental movement.”
