Professor Paint Makes an Appearance on the WGN News

Jeff Hester a.k.a. “Professor Paint”, made his first television appearance yesterday on the WGN News at Noon.  The WGN Super Station, which broadcasts on cable televisions across the country, invited the “Professor” to discuss some of the hottest trends in faux and decorative finishes during their special Lunch Break segment.  In addition to his insights, Jeff also gave a demonstration of the steps involved with applying Venetian Plaster.  The station representatives raved about his appearance and already discussed an opportunity to return for a longer segment on the morning news.

Although Hester Painting & Decorating already enjoys local and national exposure for its craftsmanship, Jeff Hester (and his role as Professor Paint) is helping to extend their reputation to even more homes and businesses.

Jeff Hester knows paint.  A craftsman who has spent his entire 27 year career in residential painting and decorating and is an officer on the board of Finishing Contractors Association of Chicago, Jeff tells it like it is.  He can discuss high-end professional techniques and offer advice to homeowners and do-it-yourselfers.  He has made public speaking appearances to discuss trends, tips for hiring a painting contractor, precautions for safer jobsites, exclusive new techniques, and tricks of the trade.  He is also currently investigating home improvement radio program opportunities.
